My Story

On the outside, everything looked amazing. I was a Naturopathic Doctor with a thriving practice, an Associate Professor and I had an active social life. Externally, people saw me as a successful high achiever who could be counted on for anything.
But inside things were a mess.
I struggled with anxiety and I wrestled with addiction. I was never present in the interactions with those I cherish most. I worried about what others thought of me, struggled with saying no, never thought I was good enough or doing enough, and most importantly, despite the “smile” I was not happy.

On the outside, everything looked amazing. I was a Naturopathic Doctor with a thriving practice, an Associate Professor and I had an active social life. Externally, people saw me as a successful high achiever who could be counted on for anything.

Something desperately needed to change. Life couldn’t feel like this. On paper, I was “fine.” But that didn’t mean that’s how I truly felt. Despite all of my knowledge, success and checking off all the right boxes, I still didn’t feel calm, at peace or happy.

So I set out on a journey to discover what true health and happiness meant and how I could develop it.

I studied happiness in-depth and applied it to my work as a Naturopathic Doctor. I took part in happiness training at UC Berkeley, Yale and Harvard. I devoured research on neuroscience, women’s behavioral and positive psychology related to happiness.

I read self-help books, tried affirmations, visualizations and meditations, signed up for therapy and experimented with countless modalities. Some worked, some didn’t, but I stayed dedicated to my quest to unlock happiness and joy.

Several years ago, my husband and I traveled to Bhutan – the only country in the world that has its own Gross National Happiness Index. It was in Bhutan that I had my ah-ha moment.

The only way to feel truly at peace is if you reframe the negative thoughts in your mind and live from a place of authenticity.

The only way to feel truly calm is if you learn to take control of your time and use it towards what really matters.

The only way to unlock the true feeling of joy is if you learn the tools to create happiness as part of your everyday life.

Over the years, I’ve worked with thousands of women to help them feel calm, at peace, healthy and happy. I continue to learn from experts all around the world so I can bring the best to my clients and patients. And my work is not done.

My mission is to elevate the well-being and happiness of a million people, so that happiness becomes the MOST utilized tool of positive impact in the world.
